Cider Press Tour
Offered Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Includes: a hayride to the orchard, visit to the barnyard, Land of Scarecrows, the labyrinth walk, time in the Halloween Hollow Playground (for children up to age 10), a farm coloring page for each person, a guided tour of our amazing cider press in operation, one “spookie” pumpkin and one apple per participant, and a visit to our farm store offering fresh apple cider, fruit pies, candied and caramel apples, mums and pumpkins and more!
Cost: $6.50 per person. Tour lasts approximately 1 ½ hours.
Rain Forest Corn Maze Adventure
Offered Tuesday through Friday, the adventure begins with a hayride and is followed by the maze scavenger hunt adventure. Learning biology, geography and ecology is made fun as students search in a six-acre maze for facts about the world’s temperate and tropical rain forests and the animals, people and plants that inhabit them. Participants search for 27 stations scattered throughout the 6-acre maze, which hold the answers to questions about Rain Forests found on their game card. Questions available in advance upon request.
Find out about the efforts to protect the world rain forests and their valuable ecosystems. Great for team and community building and mixed age groups.
Cost: $6.50 per person. Tour lasts approximately 1 ½ hours.

Glean Apples for New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger
An added opportunity for your students to perform a community service. After your tour, consider spending a half hour or more collecting wind-dropped apples in our beautiful 10–acre orchard. In just a short time, hundreds of pounds of delicious apples can be collected, which then are distributed by New Jersey Farmers Against Hunger to food pantries throughout the region. By reservation only.

All tours are by reservation only!
Minimum group size: 15 paying visitors
Two teachers are admitted free per class of at least 15

Picnic tables are for those purchasing lunch at Snipes only. You are welcome to bring a picnic lunch and a blanket if you wish.
We do our utmost to ensure that your visit to Snipes Farm will be a safe and happy experience. A trip to Snipes is a trip to the country! Not all walking surfaces are level, smooth, or paved. Please keep this in mind when preparing your group for their tour.
